Writing - the blank page

Yes, this blog is about me and writing. I'm not a writer, never have been, I just jot things down, and occassionally I will write about what I have done, what I have seen, and I run with it...for a sentence, or two. But that's all. There is no structure, no plan, no sence of where it is going (I guess that's the structure and plan bit!).

I was talking with my cousin about this - she is a teacher - and she said I should write a book. Well, I'm not sure that's on the horizon, but it did get me thinking. I thought that I should practice, just start writing, try and get the hand of writing in a better way, writing with purpose, or a typewriter. 

I have much to learn, so let's see what happens...
